SDU Scrapbook Design & You Program
Learn the fundamentals of creating great scrapbooks. This 10 class program will
earn you a Certificate of Excellence in Scrapbooking. The 100 series classes are theory classes (no projects completed).
The 200 series classes are technique classes in which you complete projects to adhere into your binder.

Scrapbook Basics- This class will orient the beginner to the basics and the importance of scrapbooking.
102 Tools
of the Trade- We'll discuss many tools that can assist in making fantastic scrapbook pages.
103 Journaling-
Pictures cannot tell a story alone. This class will teach writing basics and inspire you to journal.
104 Color-
A working knowledge of color is a must for every scrapbooker. Learn about basic color theory.
105 Layout
Design- You'll learn principles of design structure that will help you create strong layouts.
201 Matting- Learn
many ways to enhance a photo and create a well-designed layout through matting.
202 Stickers- In this class you'll
learn techniques to get your stickers out of collections and onto your pages.
203 Lettering- Lettering should be
fun. This class will show you how to relax and enjoy writing in your books.
204 Titles- Learn how to design
spectacular titles that will make amazing presentations on your pages.
205 Punches- Learn how to maintain your punches,
adhere pieces, create punch scenes, and much more.
Graduation Crop! Once you've
completed the program, come crop with the new friends you've made. We'll provide the ceremony, a free layout kit
for each graduate, and cake of course.
Fee $10 per 100 series class and $12 per 200 series class (scheduled two at
a time for $22) or entire program only $100 includes free SDU binder & grad
crop)

Methods 3: Advanced Punching
are all incredible 2 hour courses packed full of scrapbooking design principles,
useful tips, and hands on projects which again become chapters in a collectible binder (which sells
for $6.99).

SDU Selectives Program
The Selectives classes are individual themed classes. They give you a hands-on
opportunity to work with specific product lines. We offer the Disney Mickey & Friends class here at It's Scrapbook
Time!
